We've been in a yield crisis for the past decade and it won't get better soon, according to SocGen's star quant Andrew Lapthorne.
In this environment he says stock picking is the your best option.
Here's a chart from Lapthorne's recent presentation showing the impressive return for portfolios using value investing formulas from Greenblatt and Graham & Rea. The best returns came from the "Quality & Income," which we assume is a SocGen fomula (characteristics of this fund are below).
