The "Droid Incredible 4G" name has appeared a few times over the past few months, suggesting the imminent arrival of a new entry in HTC and Big Red's Droid Incredible series. Back in February we even got our first look at what seems to be a Droid Incredible-like device with Verizon 4G LTE connectivity.

Today there's even more evidence to suggest that a new Dinc may be on the way. An Verizon internal document sent to us by a tipster references the HTC Droid Incredible 4G and its model number, ADR6410. There's also some slightly less interesting stuff about MAP (minimum advertised price) policy.

With the HTC One X and One S coming to Europe in the next week, a U.S. launch likely within the next month, it makes sense for Verizon to get its own next-gen HTC handset in the near future. Purported specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and an 8MP shooter. Like the One S, the display is said to be AMOLED-based rather than SLCD2. On the software side, we'd expect to see Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4.0.

The motion picture industry, like all major American job creators, is part of a growing and interconnected world economy. But it might be surprising how important foreign movie theater audiences are to the millions of Americans who depend on the motion picture industry for their jobs. What country sells the most movie tickets every year? India - 3.3 billion tickets to movie theaters. And which country had the largest box office growth last year? China led the way with a 35 percent increase.

The opening of new markets across the world for the motion picture industry is a cultural and economic achievement. Movies contribute to the richness of cultures across the world, with filmmakers from every nation telling interesting and important stories that can only be expressed through the medium of film. And there is nothing like watching a movie in a packed theater. Throughout the world, people are going in increasing numbers to the cinema to have the special experience of seeing a movie on the big screen.

In 2011, global box office receipts increased by three percent to $32.6 billion. Much of that growth was driven by overseas markets. Every international region, from South America to Asia, experienced box office growth. These numbers underscore the impact of movies on the global economy and the vitality of a trip to the local cinema, which remains one of the most affordable entertainment options for consumers.

I recently traveled to Beijing, Hong Kong and Mumbai to encourage greater partnership with the film communities in China and India and to encourage more market access for American films.

While in Beijing, I spoke with some of the American and Chinese officials who helped create a landmark trade agreement last month that allows Chinese audiences to see more American movies. This agreement significantly increases the number of American films allowed to be shown in movie theaters in China and provides a larger share of revenue for U.S. film companies.

China is of great importance to American filmmakers. The marketplace for American movies is thriving with the strongest growth in overseas markets, especially China. The Chinese box office had, by far, the largest growth of any major market in 2011 and is the second largest overseas market behind Japan.

Like America, India is a nation where movies matter. They enrich the culture while creating a more vibrant economy that helps the prosperity of the Indian middle class. In Mumbai, I spoke with many Indian government officials along with film and entertainment industry leaders at the FICCI FRAMES conference about the rapid growth of the Indian motion picture industry. Two years ago it was a $3.2 billion industry. Two years from now it is estimated to exceed $5 billion, which is truly incredible growth.

The box office in India is also growing. Last year, there were $1.4 billion in ticket sales, the fifth largest box office receipts in the world.

The expansion of theater audiences is good for the economy in America and around the world. Many movies make from half to seventy percent of their box office revenue in foreign markets. This helps grow an industry on which over 2.2 million Americans depend for their jobs. And this industry is one of the few that consistently generates a positive balance of trade for the United States.

I look forward to another year of great movies and strong box office growth throughout the world. Innovation and technology continue to be a driving force for the motion picture industry. Movie theaters are filled across the globe with people excited about great films and new technology that enhances the movie going experience.

Chemotherapy:

Several different chemotherapy drugs help treat colorectal cancer. Often, two or more of these drugs are combined to make them more effective. For several decades, doctors have used 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) as a part of most chemotherapy regimens for colorectal cancer patients. Usually, patients receive 5-FU together with leucovorin (or folinic acid).

In general, doctors treat patients with 5-FU every two weeks, over a period of six months to a year. Some standard chemotherapy regimens that include 5-FU are these:

• FOLFOX: 5-FU, leucovorin and oxaliplatin
• FOLFIRI: 5-FU, leucovori and irinotecan
• FOLFOXIRI: leucovorin, 5-FU, oxaliplatin and irinotecan

Radiation Therapy:

Radiation therapy?uses high-energy?x-rays?or other types of?radiation?to kill cancer cells or stop them from growing. Two types of radiation are available; doctors decide which one to use based on the type and stage of a patient?s cancer.

• Eternal radiation?therapy?uses a machine outside the body to send radiation toward the cancer.
• Internal radiation?places a radioactive substance sealed in needles,?seeds, wires or catheters?directly into or near the cancer.

Target Therapy:

Typically reserved for patients with advanced colon cancer, target therapy uses drugs aimed at specific defects that allow cancer cells to proliferate. Examples of target therapy include bevacizumab (Avastin), cetuximab (Erbitux) and panitumumab (Vectibix). Doctors may give targeted drugs alone or with chemotherapy.

Q: How is gaming helping to change the landscape in health care?

A: Savvy health care professionals increasingly speak of a more "patient or consumer-centric health system." Hospitals, clinics and health plans are taking a lesson from the popularity of social networking and making connections directly with consumers. Health professionals, marketers, employers, pharmaceutical companies, health plans and others view gaming as yet another way to engage consumers in their own health. And why not?

Gaming is social (or can be). Gaming is cool. Gaming is active (especially Xbox Kinect). Gaming is fun. Gaming is high tech. And gaming opens a door to entirely new ways to reach consumers and patients where they live: in their own homes.

As we move toward a health system more focused on prevention, more focused on personal responsibility as part of the equation, and payment systems more focused on outcomes than volume, one can see how gaming can play an important role in all of that.

Woman's body heading back to Iraq; hate-crime killing?

Police in El Cajon, Calif., are investigating a brutal attack that left an Iraqi woman dead. KNSD-TV's Chris Chan reports.

Services at an East County mosque were held Sunday to honor an El Cajon woman who was found severely beaten inside her home with a threatening note left nearby.

Friends of Shaima Alawadi, 32, remembered a warm, loving woman who was a wonderful mother to her five children.

At the same time they are anticipating more information from investigators about the suspicious death of the Iraqi immigrant who moved in to the rental home on Skyview Street two months ago.

Alawadi was found in the dining room by her 17-year-old daughter March 21. She was transported to a local trauma center and died Saturday after being on life support for three days.

A threatening note was discovered very close to where Alawadi was found officers said. The family say they received a similar note earlier this month, however did not report it to authorities.?

Police would not confirm the contents of the note however a spokesperson for the local chapter of the Counsel of American-Islamic Relations said he is concerned the beating may be a hate crime.

"The body was found with a note that essentially says, 'You guys are terrorists, go back home, you don't belong here.' That's the message,"said CAIR Executive Director Hanif Mohebi.

Neighbors said the family ? which includes as many as five children ? moved into the rented home in El Cajon about two months ago. Alawadi and her two daughters wore headscarves, according to their neighbors.

?When you add violence against woman, the loss of life of a mother on top of that and the fact that this innocent woman may have been targeted solely because of her appearance and her set of beliefs, it?s a strike not just at the Muslim community but at the humanity for all of us here in San Diego,? said family friend Kamaal Martin.

Nazanin Wahid said Alawadi was a friend to everyone at the Islamic Center of Lakeside on Mountain View Avenue because the community is close-knit and members know each other very well.

"This place holds a very special value to them because their children grew up here and they still come here, so this is their center, our center, their community, our community," said family friend Nazanin Wahid.

Based on Alawadi?s injuries and other evidence retrieved at the scene, police said this case is being investigated as a homicide.

Sunday morning flowers were seen at the porch of the Alawadi home. A cross with the words ?Give Thanks to the Lord? was also seen near the front door.

On Sunday, the family was making plans to fly Alawadi's body back to Iraq. Alawadi's father is Sayed Nabeel Alawadi, a Shiite cleric in Iraq, a Muslim leader in Michigan told the Detroit Free-Press. The Iraqi government will pay for shipping expenses of the body, he said.

Hayder Al-Zayadi, a family friend, told the Free-Press that Alawadi moved to the United States in 1993 with her family and was part of a wave of Shiite Muslim refugees who fled to Michigan after Saddam Hussein cracked down on an uprising in 1991.

After living in Dearborn for a few years, she moved to the San Diego area in 1996, graduated from high school and became a housewife raising five children, Al-Zayadi said.

Thousands of people have liked a special page on Facebook?calling for "One Million Hijabs for Shaima Alawadi."

Alawadi's report has been sealed by the medical examiner per a police request.

If you are looking for some extreme two wheel fun, then pull out your mountain bike and head over to Stony Creek Metropark located off Mound Rd., between 26 Mile and 31 Mile roads. And despite having taken part in race-based protests, Winkler says he's running in opposition to "increasing federal reach" into the county.

"Whether people will believe me or not, it will be entirely up to their own discretion," Winkler told the paper.

Winkler is running for the Republican nomination in Bonner County, which will be held on May 15, against two other men, including the current sheriff.

"I don't look at myself as a vigilante," Winkler said. "I look at myself as a concerned citizen."
